User Review

Rating: 5/10

To be honest, there isn't really a lot to write about this movie that isn't covered by my title summary. There are some chuckle moments and some reasonably crafted scenes that brought a smirk, but that really is mostly it.

There was a lot of potential here, the story is a good one, well though out and well structured, but it fell short even if it keeps you interested enough to make it to the end without an extended intermission. Scenes that promised a good belly laugh or a Segway to something really promising never really materialised in spite of the promising cast... which is kinda surprising because we know these actors can all deliver.

Perhaps it's down to the direction given I think the material they have to work with here is reasonable... not great but reasonable. To be honest I'm not sure. Usually the issues I see with films are easy to highlight, but here I'm more or less stumped. I defer to those knowledgeable in the art of film making to make the proper analysis on this occasion, and stick to giving an opinion of the outcome.

A slightly absent review I know. Its hard to write more without spoilers and even then I still don't think I could do a justifiable job writing something comprehensive. I will just give you an outright opinion which I hope helps somewhat... It's watchable, but that's probably it.
